DAW stands for Digital Audio Workstation and it is an electronic device or software that used for recording, editing and producing audio files. MIDI stands for Musical Instrumental Digital Interface. instead of recording audio, MIDI records the data of what you played. You can only listen to audio with a playback device. The biggest difference between these two devices is that the only way to fix an error in a audio file is to restart. With MIDI, you can fix the errors without having to start all over again. You can use DAW and MIDI to make music by using the keyboard that it includes or by using other musical instruments.
